A recipe book
of your own making.

Casserole is a keepsake book for everything you actually make — jot it down, organize it, plan the week, and let cook mode walk you through the method. Dinners, bakes, cocktails, brews.

The whole loop lives in one book — from half an idea to a keeper.

The book

Start with a jot.
Jot it down
Type it, paste it, or save half an idea — a card doesn’t need to be finished to be kept.
Paste a link
Works with most recipe sites — makings, method and all come straight in.
Organize it
Group cards into collections — Weeknight, Keepers, the bar cart. Categories sort themselves; covers draw themselves.

The week

Decide once. Shop once.
Plan the week
Line up what’s up next and what the week holds. Tick Cooked as you go; ask Surprise me when nothing appeals.
One list, by aisle
Amounts sum across cards and scale with servings. Your own additions survive a re-plan, and standing staples stay off the list.
What to eat?
A roll of the book, filtered by what you’ve got in. Instant, and free for everyone.

Cook mode · newest

It walks you through it.
Tell it servings and when you want it ready — it takes the method from there.
Mise en place first — a checklist before anything touches heat.
One step at a time, readable from across the counter.
Timers that chime, buzz, and keep the screen awake — and say honestly when you’re late.
A timeline that plans backward from your ready-at time and flags two steps fighting over the oven.
When it’s done, it offers to log the cook.

Afterwards

Remember it. Pass it on.
A private log
Five dots and a note after each cook, in a feed only you can see. Strictly yours.
Share as you please
Send one card, a collection, or the whole book — a link, no login needed.
In public, if you like
Claim @yourname, follow other books, and fork a card with credit when you make it your own.
